Coriander plant is a name of spice containing coriander seeds (fruit) and leaf type of spice. Shown below two picture one is powder and another is seeds of it with names. It is a common spice to us and often used as flavoring substances. Name of Coriander spices is known to all today's world. We keep the spice in our common spices list. We can grow and get it in a very easy way. In the yard or within the tub we can grow the coriander plant and use its spices.

Coriander is native to Mexico and South America. It spans from Southern Europe, North Africa and Southwestern Asia. Its use and cultivating history is long. It is cultivated western Asia, Southern Europe and many other countries.

Coriander plant is soft and grows about 20 inch high. It is harvested annually and the color is brown when seeds are dried.  The flower of the spice tree is nice to look at.

Its plants, seeds and leaves are edible. We can grind and store the seeds as coriander powder for next time use. Coriander juice also contains flavor and taste. For coriander nutritional value we may use it with food, curry and salads. The fresh leaves are used in many foods with the recipes. After dried the leaf loses coriander flavor but coriander seeds do not lose its flavor and taste.

Cinnamon tree is an evergreen tree. The tree has thick reddish bark. The bark is the main spice of cinnamon. The tree grows twenty to sixty feet high. Its flowers are beautiful and smell. Since four thousand years ago the Egyptians have used Cinnamon. The spice (bark) color is golden yellow.
